Grant applications

Grant for SWG research project

Members of the group applied for an SWG Grant for their project on the ‘Creation of the first European registry for inherited platelet disorders (ERIPD).’ The grant was awarded by EHA, and the project is underway.

ERIPD is designed as an observational study that aims to create a large database of epidemiological, clinical, laboratory, and genetic data on IPD.

We expect to have a comprehensive coverage of the European population and to enroll more than 500 IPD patients. The following activities are ongoing:

  • Discussion and approval of a case report form (CRF)
  • Creation of the registry
  • Testing of the registry
  • Identification and correction of problems that emerge during testing

You can find out more about this research on the project page.
