EHA, together with the SWG Bleeding and Thrombosis and the SWG Thrombocytopenia and Platelet Function Disorders are inviting you to the scientific conference on bleeding disorders. This program will lead you through the diagnostic and treatment pathways of the broad field of bleeding disorders and provides you with the opportunity to interact with experts in the various aspects of bleeding disorders.
After attending this EHA Scientific Conference, you will be able to:
- Identify the etiology and pathogenesis of bleeding tendency in each patient
- Use appropriately laboratory investigations to reach diagnostic certainty
- Manage patients at risk of hemorrhage
- Define how to stop bleeding once it occurs
- Consider the cost-benefit ratio in the choice of treatment
The program covers basic science, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of inherited and acquired bleeding disorders, including rare coagulation defects, thrombocytopenias and hemophilia. Have a look at the full program of sessions, speakers and presentations here.
