Clinical Haematologist

The Clinical Haematologist will work in a team to provide clinical and diagnostic haematology for the Royal Hobart Hospital. It serves a local population of approximately 250,000 people and is the tertiary referral centre for the rest of Tasmania (total population 500,000).
Royal Hobart Hospital includes most adult specialties and paediatrics, the Statewide Bone Marrow Transplant Service and it is the Tasmanian Haemophilia Centre and a statewide laboratory service for flow cytometry, cytogenetics and molecular testing. There are close ties with the University of Tasmania and staff participate actively in relevant teaching and research programs.
Appropriate postgraduate specialty qualification(s). Must be eligible for registration with the Australian Medical Council.
