VACANCY: Administrative Support Assistant

The European Hematology Association (EHA) is a growing scientific society. EHA aims to promote the medical discipline of hematology and to represent hematologists in Europe. Located in Rotterdam, the Executive Office organizes and coordinates the daily activities of EHA. These include membership, meetings and congresses, publications (journal, newsletter, etc.), education, accreditation of continuing medical education (CME) activities, finance and bookkeeping, and marketing and PR.

The accreditation of CME activities, the bookkeeping and membership involve administrative work for which we are looking for an

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT

(m/f) full time

Job description

You will support the coordinators of CME accreditation, membership and finance. You will enter data that include: applications for CME accreditation, member subscription details, and financial information. You will be the help desk and communicate with users of the CME accreditation system, and (potential) members of EHA. You will provide additional support activities where required.

You enjoy working in an internationally orientated organization. You are well-organized, methodical and have an eye for detail. You are communicative and like working in a team, providing support to staff and/or the public. You have some experience in using office and spreadsheet applications and, preferably, in book-keeping.

Education and Skills

  • Administrative/support experience
  • Medium or higher vocational education level (MBO+)
  • Accurate, conscientious
  • (near) Native English speaker; resident in the Netherlands
  • Computer literate (Office, Outlook, etc.)
  • Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a small team

Salary

Dependent on age and experience.
