Support Opportunities

Support Opportunities

There is a variety of opportunities for industry to support EHA educational activities and the Annual Congress through the Corporate Partner and Congress Sponsorship Programs. The Priority Points System has been implemented to integrate these two programs and further develop the Corporate Program. The Priority System grades the sponsors’ level and identifies their opportunities. Detailed information on the Corporate Sponsor and Congress Sponsorship Programs can be found in the 2013 Sponsor Opportunities Prospectus, PDF file.

18th Congress of EHA

One of the support possibilities is the 18th Annual Congress of EHA in Stockholm. Companies can sponsor an element individually or – where possible, acceptable to all and appropriate – in combination with another company. Within the Congress Sponsorship Program, the Priority Points System determines the priority in selecting sponsor items (for example choosing satellite symposia time-slots and exhibition space). Companies with the highest number of priority points have first choice. Companies are invited to apply for different sponsor opportunities described in the 2013 Sponsor Opportunities Prospectus for the 18th Congress of EHA. Sponsors will be acknowledged in upcoming announcements and in the final program.

For further information, please contact the chair of the Corporate Sponsor Committee or contact the EHA Executive Office directly at +31 (0)70 3020 099.

Congress Highlights

EHA encourages sponsors to support the Annual Congress Highlights. This meeting is organized annually in outreach countries and provides a summary of the most important education and scientific sessions of the Congress for those who were unable to attend the Annual Congress. If your company is interested in supporting and/or exhibiting at next year's Congress Highlights, please contact Carin Smand at sponsorship@ehaweb.org for further details on sponsor packages and single sponsor options.

Scientific Workshops and Tutorials

EHA and the European School of Hematology (ESH) work in close conjunction to offer hematologists opportunities for high level continuing education. During Scientific Workshops and Tutorials, organized in different European countries, the latest scientific information is shared between a group of 150–200 hematologists and a highly qualified faculty. Per year EHA-ESH organize 5–7 scientific workshops and tutorials.
ESH-EHA Joint educational activities can be supported through the EHA and ESH unrestricted educational grants provided by the corporate sponsors. In addition, it is possible to sponsor a particular EHA-ESH Hematology workshop or tutorial and to have a small booth onsite (max 10m2).

Scientific Working Groups and EHA-SWG Scientific Meetings

EHA welcomes sponsor’s contribution to a number of EHA-SWG Scientific Meetings. A new project has been developed as a joint effort of EHA and the SWGs. The pilot has been designed to create a balanced educational program and to share in-depth scientific knowledge with hematologists in Europe. Approximately 2-3 meetings will be organized in European locations every year. In order to make the program more interactive, the delegates will be offered to complete the self assessment by using voting boxes. Support of the EHA-SWG Scientific Meeting Program is highly appreciated. Interested sponsors can contact the Corporate Sponsor Committee for further information.
