SWGs at the Annual Congress

SWGs at the Annual Congress of EHA

Over the years, SWG sessions at the Annual Congress have seen strong development and a substantial increase of participants. To support high-quality science, EHA kindly invites approved Scientific Working Groups to submit a program for a Scientific Session at the EHA Annual Congress.

These Sessions will take place simultaneously on Thursday evening before the Congress starts and take 90 minutes. Provided time slots for the Sessions are given based on the scientific merit of the program and its contribution to the scientific congress program. The Session programs are reviewed and approved by the Scientific Program Committee (SPC). If the number of applications received exceeds capacity, the SPC may decide to make a selection of programs.

EHA Office will inform SWG chairs on the decision concerning the programs for the 18th Congress by February 28, 2013.

SWGs will be assigned a meeting room with audiovisual equipment. Congress registration for SWG chairs and speakers is complimentary. Because the SWG Sessions are part of the Congress, admission to the SWG Sessions is only possible with a Congress delegate’s badge. The chairs of the Sessions are invited to the President’s dinner.

How to submit a program

The chairs of the Scientific Working Groups are invited to send the program proposal in Word format to Gabriela Rojková at g.rojkova@ehaweb.org by January 15, 2013.
The proposal must include a maximum of 5 speakers’ names, topic titles, speakers’ contact details and affiliations.
