Clinical Cases

Clinical Case submission

The clinical case presentations are an important part of the program. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to submit a clinical case for presentation (if accepted) in an oral or poster presentation. The authors of the accepted clinical cases will present their case, and will have the possibility to discuss it with the faculty and their peers.

The oral presentations will be interactive presentations, which means that you will be asked to add some multiple choice questions to your presentation once your case has been selected. The audience will answer these questions, using a voting box device. This will enhance the discussion.

A selection of cases might be eligible for publication on the EHA Learning Center, provided they meet educational needs and content. Authors will receive an invitation.

Topics

You can submit a case on one of the following topics:

  • Hodgkin lymphoma in elderly patients
  • Mantle cell lymphoma
  • MALT lymphomas and HCL
  • Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia
  • CNS lymphoma
  • T cell lymphomas

Submission

To submit your clinical case, click on ‘Submit’ at the right. Don’t forget to read the guidelines and instructions before you submit your case. You will need to submit a shortened version of your case (3-4 slides).

The clinical cases will be reviewed and allocated by the chairs and co-chairs. The authors will be informed about the allocation before February 1, 2017.

Please note that the submission of a clinical case constitutes a formal commitment by the presenting author to attend the conference (if the case is accepted). We therefore recommend that submitters of cases register for the meeting simultaneously with their case submission.

Should you have any questions, please contact education@ehaweb.org.

As a participant, you have the opportunity to submit an abstract or clinical case summary. Deadline is July 15, 2016.
