1. Membershipclick to expand
Goal
- Continuously improve the value of EHA membership
Objectives
- To enhance the involvement of EHA members in EHA-related activities
- To target the needs of members at all stages of training and experience, including junior members
- To learn about and adopt members´ views and opinions through surveys and questionnaires
2. Education & Trainingclick to expand
Goal

Promote education and lifelong learning in hematology
Objectives
- To encourage individual hematologists to develop and maintain professional competence through the EHA Continuing Medical Education system
- To develop and implement the EHA curriculum for specialist training in hematology in Europe
- To provide excellent postgraduate education through the congress education program and other scientific activities
- To disseminate knowledge through online distance learning tools
3. Outreachclick to expand
Goal
- Complement the needs in hematology education for the Middle East and other outreach countries
Objectives
- To organize scientific hematology tutorials and congress highlights throughout the year.
- To develop EHA educational tools suitable for distance learning.
- To establish a partner fellowship program for junior investigators from less well-resourced countries in Europe and beyond.
4. Career Developmentclick to expand
Goal
- Promote the career development of (junior) hematologists
Objectives
- To organize EHA Research Fellowships for the promotion of high quality European hematological research by junior and clinical researchers in the field of malignant and non-malignant hematological diseases
- To organize translational Research Training in Hematology (TRTH) to offer junior researchers tools, mentoring and access to resources beneficial for a successful career in hematology
- To organize joint fellowships with partner organizations to support career development for early career researchers

- Disseminate knowledge in the field of hematology

- To serve the scientific community by stimulating and promoting basic and clinical research on hematological disorders

- To actively promote recognition and status of hematology within Europe by describing its role and position in policy documents written for professional organizations, press, and lay people
- To establish relations with official governmental and accreditation authorities at the pan-European level
- To increase possibilities of funding for hematological research within the EU framework programs
- To act as a discussion partner for national governments as well as for other interest groups

- Strengthen relationships with National Societies of Hematology and Scientific Working Groups that are mutually beneficial
