Awards

EHA honors outstanding physicians and scientists for their contribution to the advancement in hematology.

Since 1999 EHA has - in collaboration with the José Carreras Foundation - established the EHA - José Carreras Award. In 2008 EHA established the EHA Jean Bernard Lifetime Achievement Award.

The EHA Board selects the winner of the José Carreras - EHA Award and the EHA Jean Bernard Lifetime Achievement Award every year. Both award are presented at the EHA Annual Congress.
